Nasdaq gains 29pts; ADRs shine

The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 20 points to 13,893. The Nasdaq gained 29 points at 2793.

The Indian ADRs ended with smart gains. Satyam soared 4.7% to $26.80. Genpact, Infosys, Wipro, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, MTNL and Tata Motors rallied 2-4% each to $16.15, $49.39, $15.18, $22.40, $54.72, $8.34 and $19.82, respectively. VSNL, however, dropped nearly 2% to $24.99.
