Nasdaq soars 51pts; ADRs rally

The US indices ended higher for the third straight day yesterday. The Dow Jones industrial surged 154 points to 13,658. The Nasdaq soared 51 points to 2613.

Indian ADRs ended with significant gains. Infosys zoomed 5.7% to $51.27. Satyam and ICICI Bank surged 5% each to $27.94 and $44.25, respectively. Sterlite and Wipro rallied 4.5% each to $15.77 and $14.36, respectively. Patni Computers, HDFC Bank, MTNL and VSNL were up around 4% each. Genpact, however, dropped 3% to $16.50.
