Nath, who arrived here today for consultations with Chinese officials, said it was important for the two Asian majors to take a common and harmonised stand on issues of vital interests to both and to enable a successful conclusion of the Doha Round. |
During the meeting with about 30 representatives of Indian industries at the Indian Embassy here, Nath said India and China enjoyed good rapport during WTO negotiations. |
Nath will meet Chinese counterpart Bo Xilai as well as Chinese Agriculture Minister Sun Zhengcai and the Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Wan Jifei. |
