Natwar stands by notice, ready to face action

In line of Congress' fire over his breach of privilege notice against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over leak of the Pathak Authority report indicting him and his son, former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh today said he stands by his move and is ready to face action.

"Yes I do," Singh remarked when reporters asked if he stood by his breach of privilege notice. Asked to comment on the Action Taken Report, he said he has not seen it yet.

However, the veteran Congress leader said he was ready to face party action over his privilege motion. "Let it come, I will see," he remarked when asked if he was ready to face action from the party.

Updated at 1140 hrs: Former External Affairs Minister K Natwar Singh, who has moved a breach of privilige notice against Prime Minister Manmohan over the leak of Justice R S Pathak report, today kept his cards close to his chest.

"<i>Aage Aage dekhiye hota hai kya</i> (watch out what happens next)," was his cryptic reply when asked outside Parliament house whether he would press for the privilige motion.
