Natwar submits statement to RS

Natwar Singh, who had given a breach of privilege notice against the PM, has submited his statement to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat.

"You should see when I speak," Natwar Singh said when asked about the contents of his statement.

Asked whether the statement would be taken up today, he said: "I hope so."

A meeting of the business advisory council was convened to discuss the issue shortly after the house was adjourned amid uproarious scenes with opposition demanding the presence of the Prime Minister.
