Naxalites blew up a goods truck in a powerful landmine explosion on the National Highway (NH) in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh's restive Bastar region killing four civilians. The truck was carrying commodities that include coconut load from Andhra Pradesh to Chhattisgarh when the rebels ambushed it near Kerlapal on Dornapal-Sukma road on Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. The powerful landmine blast that tossed up the truck took place on the NH 221 that connect southern Chhattisgarh with Vijayawada, the trading and business centre in Andhra Pradesh.
