Ncc Secures Rs 101-Cr Orders

Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC), a city-based leading construction company, has secured seven new orders aggregating an amount of Rs 101 crore.

These include a Rs 54.71 crore order from the public works department of New Delhi for construction of district court and Rs 14.90 crore order from Karnataka Housing Board for construction of district office complex at Haveri.

The company has also received a Rs 11.30 crore order from the Department of Space for construction of buildings and infrastructure for Incois at Hyderabad and a Rs 10.28 crore order from Rajasthan Urban Industrial Development Project, Jaipur, for pipeline works for supply of water in Jaipur.

 

With this, the total order book of the company increased to Rs 1,080 crore, NCC said in a release. For the nine-month period ended December 2002, NCC recorded a net profit of Rs 12.17 crore on a turnover of Rs 330 crore.
