Nddb To Set Up Human Vaccine Plant

The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Anand, is setting up an human vaccines plant and research and development (R&D) centre at a cost of Rs 50 crore at Hyderabad through its wholly owned subsidiary Indian Immunologicals (IIL).

The new the Rs 42 crore plant has been designed to manufacture various human vaccines for Recombiant Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, Measles, Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus. The plant has capacity to produce 200 million doses a year of each vaccine.
