Need for more effective marketing stressed

 Parikh was speaking at the Marketing Conclave, a two-day event that concluded on Sunday at Nirma University in Ahmedabad. A K Singh, director, Institute of Management, Nirma University, emphasized the need for such meetings as they bridge the gap between the academia and the industry. He said this marketing conclave was a new beginning, which will help students understand the latest trends and practices in the industry.

 P K Yadav, coordinator of the marketing conclave said the industry is moving from simple to complex processes and the changes in the industry demand a healthy interface between corporate world and academic world.
