New MD for APCOB

The state government yesterday appointed C Uma Malleshwar Rao as the managing director of Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Limited (APCOB).

He earlier worked as the managing director of AP Dairy Development Corporation and the secretary of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC), besides holding field posts like Kurnool district collector.

D Chakrapani, the present MD of APCOB, has been transferred and posted as IG (stamps and registration) in place of M Veerabhadraiah who is transferred and posted as Hyderabad district collector.
