Volker Gross-Wilde has taken oever as the new managing director of Voith Turbo India which has a manufacturing facility here. Voith, a 137-year-old German engineering giant, operates in the fields of paper technology, power transmission and energy technology besides rendering industrial services.
The local plant of 3.3 billion Euro company which became operational in 1985 manufactures power transmission equipment. It also takes care of sales and service of the products of other Voith subsidiaries in India. Volker Gross-Wilde has been with Voith since 2001 in various capacities as commercial director at Voith Kuesel in Essen, Germany.
