A new train between Bhubaneswar and Kendujhargarh was flagged off on Wednesday from Bhubaneswar railway station. The fast passenger train will be plying five days in a week. The two days on which the train will not run are Saturday and Wednesday.
Prasanna Kumar Patasani, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Indra Ghosh General Manager, East Cost Railway, jointly flagged off the new train.
Speaking on the occasion Patasani urged the railway officials to take steps for full utilization of funds provided by the Centre. Stating that the upgradation of the existing station in the city into a world class station has been pushed to the back burner and requested the railway authorities to complete the Puri-Khurdha Road double tracking work before Nabakalebara of Lord Jagannath.
