The Nashik Industries and Manufacturers Association (NIMA) has demanded setting up of an Information Technology park in the city for more revenue generation.
If the Nashik Municipal Corporation sets up an IT park, it will be useful for entrepreneurs from Nashik and will be a source of employment for the youths, NIMA president Dhananjay Bele said on Monday.
In this regard, the NIMA delegation met city Mayor Yatin Wagh yesterday and submitted a memorandum to him, Bele said. The delegation also urged the Mayor to look into the problems faced by entrepreneurs in octroi matters and issues of truck terminals, he added.
