A three-day seminar on “Emerging Trends in the Diagnosis & Experimental Chemotherapy of Tuberculosis” at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar, Punjab will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertiliaers Srikant Jena on December 2, 2009.
The seminar will be jointly organised by NIPER, SAS Nagar; department of pharmaceuticals, Government of India and Harvard School of Public Health, USA.
The seminar will unfold the new aspects of tuberculosis diagnostics. In addition, it will also encompass relevant and upcoming areas of basic and experimental research in tuberculosis.
The seminar will comprise of lectures, which will be delivered by distinguished scientific personalities from India and abroad.
The seminar will be attended by scientists and students from industry, academia and healthcare professionals, who are actively involved in TB research.
