Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reacted sharply when it was suggested to him that he share the stage with Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi during the campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls.“Not at all. Why should I?” Kumar said, when asked if he would share a dais with Modi. When asked if he would join a NDA rally with Modi, Kumar said: “No, there is no need.”
When asked if he would be hurt if Modi campaigned in Bihar, he said, “We have communal harmony. It is not for me to object. I feel that BJP members (in Bihar) are capable and (the party’s prime ministerial candidate L K) Advani will be coming to tour Bihar and I will be with him in one public rally.”
