Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today expressed confidence that his government was stable and added that his party would not re-launch ‘Operation Kamala,’ the political strategy of the BJP to woo legislative assembly members from other political parties into its fold to gain power. The party had drawn legislators from other political parties on several occasions earlier citing reasons of providing a stable government.
Speaking to journalists at the Lalitha Mahal Helipad on his arrival from Bangalore to participate in the 400th Dasara celebrations, the Chief Minister said he would however expand his ministry after consulting senior state and central political party leaders soon.
He said he was happy that the opposition parties have stopped their tirade against his government and welcomed them to participate in developmental works.
Later, addressing the media after worshipping the Nandi Dwaja along with a host of his cabinet colleagues, the Chief Minister said he was happy to inaugurate the world-famous Dasara procession for the third time. He said he had prayed to God to destroy all the ‘bad elements’ and help him provide a stable government.
