Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi today ruled out the possibility of early elections in the country. "I am not a fortune teller, but I do not foresee any possibility of mid-term polls in the near future. The elections will be held on time," he said. Rahul, who launched his "Discover India" campaign from Orissa at Sinapali in Kalahandi district on Friday, was addressing the media on the concluding day of his four-day visit to the state today. On the Indo-US nuclear pact issue, Rahul said the government is discussing the issue with allies to find a solution. "The Prime Minister has already said that the government is talking with allies on the matter," he said. |
