Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG) today said the proposed Noida multi-product special economic zone (SEZ) meets all the contiguity requirements, and has sought talks with the central and UP governments.

With regard to land it is similar to Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries' 12,500-acre SEZ in Gujarat, R-ADAG claimed.

"We look forward to discussions with UP government and Ministry of Commerce to resolve this issue," a spokesperson for R-ADAG said in a statement today.

The Mayawati government had, yesterday, referred the issue to the central government on the grounds that the project did not meet the contiguity requirements as a road was running through the proposed 1,200 acre project site.
