The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has collaborated with the Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics (GIPE) and the Symbiosis International University (SIU) to start a new course, the NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP) course. The agreement was signed between the institutions recently.

The course is a 100 hours program (3 - 6 months) which includes theory and practical training in the capital markets. Students in these institutes will be able to study different aspects of equity markets, debt markets, derivatives, macro economics, technical analysis, fundamental analysis etc.

This will help students to understand business fundamentals and prepare them better for the future, both in terms of getting jobs and planning their finances better. Students who successfully complete this course would be awarded a joint certificate in capital markets.
