The National Textile Corporation (NTC) has sold properties of two of its defunct textile mills in a bid to ease its financial situation.
The machinery and buildings of the Ahmedabad-based Himadri Textile Mills and Jupiter Textile Mills were sold off earlier this week after a tendering process.
NTC (Gujarat) plans to sell off buildings and machinery of eight more defunct mills, while retaining ownership of the land.
With this, the corporation will be running just three mills
