National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) may run the 740 MW phase I of the controversial $3 billion Dabhol Power Company (DPC) even as the financial institutions are giving final touches to the plan for restarting the phase following a legal opinion sought by the Maharashtra government being in favour of such a move.
