Nymex crude price drifts below $60/bl

 Updated at 1100 hrs: Oil prices went from steady to slightly firmer in Asian trade today, with the market assessing OPEC's comments on the possibility of further production cuts next month, dealers said.

New York's main contract, light sweet crude for December delivery, was unchanged at $60.02 compared with late US deals.

Brent north sea crude for December was up 9 cents to $59.84.
