Air Force One, the President's official plane, took off from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport this afternoon.

Earlier, the Obamas arrived at the airport in suburban Mumbai in Marine One -- the chopper carrying the US President -- from a Naval base in South Mumbai.

In view of the US President's departure, flight movement at the CSIA airport was shut for 38 minutes, an airport spokesperson said.

The Air Force One had touched down at the Mumbai airport yesterday.
