The budget session of the Odisha assembly is slated to commence from February 6. The notification for the same was issued on Tuesday by the assembly secretariat following assent of the Governor. The session, which will run for a total of 30 days in two phases, will see presentation of the state budget on February 16.
The first phase will start on February 6 and run till February 21. In the second phase, the assembly will be on session from March 11 to April 4. The budget will be placed for appropriation on March 31, following which it will undergo the process of approval of the members of the assembly.
