Total revenue from its own tax sources rose from Rs 10932.92 crore to Rs 13483.79 crore.
In the non-tax revenue bracket, growth was 10% in the same period. Non-tax revenue logged stood at Rs 4371 crore.
The state's overall Plan expenditure also showed improvement in the period under review. Total Plan expenditure by the end of November was Rs 2000.32 crore, 26% higher than the corresponding period of last fiscal. Infrastructure spending was Rs 5163 crore, achievement of 52% of the Budget estimates (BE).
The utilization in social sectors like education, health, ST & SC development, labour welfare, panchayati raj, women & child welfare, employment training & technical education has been Rs 9616 cr which is around 55% of the BE.
While expenditure under infrastructure grew 8%, that of social sector went up 7%.
Similarly, expenditure in agriculture and allied sectors has been to the tune of Rs 3859 crore, showing a growth of 2.35% over the comparable period of last fiscal.
Emphasis has been laid on collection of arrear revenue and completion of incomplete projects. The departments have been asked to submit plan and non-plan budget requirement for 2016-17 by December 15 to the planning & coordination department. The controlling offices will send the budget requirement through Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS).
