Oil eases to $57.13/bl

Crude oil prices eased further yesterday, with the Nymex U.S. light crude oil for September delivery dipping 89 cents to close at $57.13 a barrel. The London Brent crude fell 88 cents to $55.78 per barrel.

In the commodity segment, the Comex gold continued with its upsurge and rose $3.60 to settle at $425.70 an ounce.
