Oil inches above $52/bbl

Crude oil prices, after showing signs of slowdown in recent trades, moved up on Monday. The Nymex U.S. light crude oil for June series rose $1.09 to settle at $52.05 a barrel.

In the metal category, the Comex gold ended unchanged at $426.90 an ounce.
