Oil moves up to $52.29/bbl

Global oil prices firmed up yesterday, with the Nymex U.S. light crude oil for May delivery gaining $1.92 to close at $52.29 a barrel.

In the metal segment, the Comex gold jumped $5.40 to settle at $434.40 an ounce.
