Oil prices were firmer in Asian trade today as OPEC's planned February production cut took effect and the market focused on the cold winter weather in the United States, dealers said. At 1145 hrs (Singapore time), New York's main oil futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in March, was up six cents to $57.36 a barrel up from $ 57.30 a barrel in late US trades. |
