Oil slips to $46.69

Oil prices slipped further in the international market, with the Nymex U.S. light crude oil for March delivery dropping 43 cents to close at $46.69 per barrel. The London Brent crude fell 72 cents to $44.08 a barrel.

In the metal segment, the COMEX gold added 10 cents to settle at $423 an ounce.
