Oil soars to $63.94/bbl

Crude oil prices continued its upward march yesterday, with the Nymex US light crude oil for September delivery ending at a record high of $63.94 a barrel. The London Brent crude moved up $1.59 to close at $62.70 per barrel.

In the commodity segment, the Comex gold dropped $2.50 to settle at $440.30 an ounce.
