Oil tops $62/bl

Crude oil prices shot above $62 per barrel as the death of Saudi Arabia's King Fahd, US refinery outages and tensions over Iran's nuclear ambitions rattled markets.

US light crude moved up to a new record $62.30 per barrel before closing up $1 at $61.57 per barrel on the Nymex yesterday.
