Oilmeal exports decline in H1FY08

Total oilmeal exports during the first half of the current financial year declined by 12% to 1,432,425 tonne as compared to 1,633,475 tonne in the same period last year, according to data compiled by The Solvent Extractors' Association of India.

However, oilmeal exports in September recorded a 9% jump to 3,52,800 tonne from 3,24,325 tonne in the same period previous year.
