To give a boost to organic agriculture in India, 'India Organic 2005' will be held between November 4 and November 7 in Bangalore.

The trade show will be held to give serious players in the business a chance to showcase the products and also increase its share among the farming community, said C T Chidambaram, chief operating officer, International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA). The event will be attended by organic food buyers from the country and abroad.

'India Organic 2005' will be held with collaboration between International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA), government of India through its Agricultural Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and the Karantaka government.

Swiss government is lending its support through their Indian Organic Market Development Project (IOMDP) and the support from IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements), said Chidambaram.

The organic show will be held at Lalbagh Botanical Gardens in Bangalore and is expected to attract 10,000 footfall daily.
