Orissa to give 10 acres for Posco office

The Orissa government has decided to provide 10 acres of land to the South Korean steel major Posco for setting up of its corporate headquarters in Bhubaneswar. The land is located in Tamando mouza under Bhubaneswar tehsil. The district collector of Khurda has sent a proposal to the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) in this regard. Posco India will have to pay Rs 2 lakh premium per every acre of land, steel and mines minister Raghunath Mohanty said. The company plans to set up a 12 million tonne per annum integrated greenfield steel project in Jagatsinghpur district in Orissa.
