OVL seeks stake in two more Sudan oil blocks

ONGC Videsh (OVL) is seeking stake in two oil blocks held by Total of France and Petronas of Malaysia in Sudan.

Sudanese Energy Minister Awad Ahmed al-Jaz said: "OVL is present in three blocks in Sudan and is applying for a stake in a fourth block and possibly in fifth too."

OVL Managing Director R S Butola said the company is seeking 30% from Petronas in block 8 and 32.5% in Total operated block B.
