Islamabad has proposed June 27-29 dates for what will be Qureshi's first visit to India, diplomatic sources say.
During the visit, which may include a short trip to Ajmer, Qureshi will hold talks with his Indian counterpart, Pranab Mukherjee.
Mukherjee and Qureshi had met for the first time in Islamabad last month when they resumed the bilateral composite dialogue, which was stalled for six months due to political turmoil in Pakistan.
The Pakistani side was awaiting the confirmation of the dates, The News daily quoted diplomatic sources as saying.
Sources said Qureshi would tell the Indian leadership that while the new government in Pakistan was committed to take forward the peace process in a big way, it was important that the process was result-oriented.

Qureshi would underscore the need for moving beyond confidence building measures (CBMs) and focus on dispute resolution, said sources.
The foreign office in Pakistan is working to arrange Qureshi's meetings with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Patil. He is also expected to hold talks with Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, LK Advani.
Qureshi's visit is also expected to pave the way for the prime minister's long-pending visit to Pakistan as he will renew the invitation extended to Singh by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and President Pervez Musharraf.
During his talks with Mukherjee, Qureshi will also follow up on the talks held in Islamabad last month
The visit assumes significance as it will precede the formal launch of the fifth round of the composite dialogue with a meeting of the foreign secretaries of the two countries in New Delhi next month.
Officials involved in preparations for Qureshi's visit said the Kashmir dispute, Sir Creek, Siachen, economic cooperation, trade and an agreement to liberalise the visa regime would be high on the agenda.
Before travelling to India, Qureshi will meet an All Parties Hurriyat Conference delegation led by its chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in Islamabad. The delegation is scheduled to visit Pakistan during June 21-25 at Qureshi's invitation.
