"We want India and Pakistan to undertake more CBMs on Kashmir. They should take a decision on increasing the frequency of bus services on Srinagar-Muzaffarbad and Poonch-Rawalakote trans-LoC roads", senior PDP leader Ashiq Hussain Khan told reporters here today.
Khan, also the President of Shia Federation (Jammu), said the dialogue between the two countries was moving in the "right direction and it was need the of the hour to announce more CBMs to win people's hearts in the state".
All eyes will now be on the two countries, he said adding important decisions were anticipated including early operationalisation of the truck service between the two countries.
"The new government in Pakistan has already shown an interest in resolving all bilateral issues including Kashmir and it presents the right opportunity for India to respond positively", the PDP leader said. Another important issue is that the trade links between the two sides of the border need to be resumed, he said.
