Ever since the Centre announced demonetisation of old higher currency notes, there has been crazy rush at ATMs and banks. Anxious citizens rush to collect or deposit cash at the crack of dawn to avoid standing in serpentine queues. But, few find themselves lucky each day. Either ATMs go dry or else there are other smarter alecks who had been making a beeline since night.
Frustration has creeped in. Demonetisation has indeed cast dark spell on people. But some clever ones have been successful in finding ingenious solutions to their woes.
Photos on Facebook and Twitter show that instead of just standing in the line for long hours, people in Raipur and Kerala are booking their places using footwear, or their passbooks!
Bizarre, isn't it? But it certainly has gained social media's approval and has given people a reason to smile about. There are people who can creatively whip out solutions in times of distress.
Once they have book their place, they sit around reading books, chat with friends and even enjoy snacks.
