Pgcil Warns Of Power Deficit In Western States

Power situation in the western states is likely to worsen in two months during the Rabi season and there could be further shortage, the Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has warned.

The state-owned transmission utility, which is also the nodal agency for the management of the western grid, said the peak shortage could be as much as 7,000 mw.
