Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is recuperating at AIIMS after a successful coronary bypass surgery, will be taken out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of AIIMS by Wednesday.
"He is responding very well to the treatment... Everything is going as per treatment plan. The Prime Minister will be taken out of ICU by Wednesday," Dr Ramakant Panda, a specialist of Mumbai's Asian Heart Institute, who led the team of doctors during the surgery, told PTI.
According to the doctor, no physiotherapy will be given to Prime Minister while he is in ICU.
Panda said he would "take the Prime Minister for a walk in the next few days".
