Vajpayee to hold second round of consultations with Advani, Jaswant, the party and RSS
Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will hold the second round of consultations on the proposed expansion and reshuffle of the Union council of ministers with Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani on May 22 or May 23 on his return from Lucknow.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Venkiah Naidu, party general secretary Pramod Mahajan, Finance Minister Jaswant Singh and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) co-ordinator with the BJP, Madandas Devi, will also participate.
The reshuffle is expected to follow. Government sources say the reshuffle is more likely before the Prime Minister
