PM to meet President for Office of Profit Bill

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will meet President A P J Abdul Kalam today evening to articulate the government's position on the Office of Profit Bill.

This follows the president returning the controversial Bill to Parliament for
reconsideration. The prime minister has already held consultations with law minister H R Bhardwaj and other legal and constitutional experts and will meet President Kalam at 5 pm in Rashtrapati Bhavan, official sources said.
