Pokarna Limited, formerly Pokarna Granites, recorded a net profit of Rs 4.79 crore on a turnover of Rs 24.33 crore for the third quarter, as against a net profit of Rs 2.28 crore on a sales of Rs 14.68 crore in the same period last year.
For the nine-month period, the net profit and turnover stood at Rs 13.62 crore and 70.77 crore respectively, compared with that of Rs 9.64 crore and 62.91 crore respectively for the full year ended March 2002. On an equity base of Rs 6.20 crore, it works out to an annualised EPS of Rs 29.30.
