The Nampally court today allowed the police to take custody of Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother B Rama Raju and former chief financial officer Srinivas Vadlamani till January 22.
The magistrate directed the police to conduct the interrogation only during daytime and in the presence of the advocates of the accused, to abstain from using third degree during questioning, and provide medical care for all three.
Later, advocate S Bharath Kumar, representing Ramalinga Raju, said he would move a revision petition in the High Court against today's order by the metropolitan magistrate. “There is no need for custody orders as the investigation is already complete. Also, the police did not show enough evidence for seeking custody of Ramalinga Raju and the two others,'' he said.
