The Central Committee reiterated the stand, taken unanimously at its August 22-23 meeting, asking the government not to proceed with the next step, CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat said. |
Meanwhile, Kerala Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan and State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan have been reinducted in the Politburo with immediate effect. |
"They have conducted themselves in accordance with the spirit of the Central Committee's decision," said Karat. |
