This time, the focus in on the Karnataka's coastal areas, which is estimated to have a huge scope for development. On the lines of GIM, the state has announced that it would conduct the Coastal Investors Meet on 20-21 December at Karwar to attract investments in the 320-km stretch of coastal Karnataka.
The regions to be marketed at the meet is the entire western coast of the state which includes Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttar Kannada districts. These areas already have a good track record with regards to development in the last two decades.
