Pranab 'optimistic' on Pakistan visit : <b> Video </b>

Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee said yesterday that he was optimistic about his forthcoming visit to Pakistan ahead of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's Islamabad trip.

Mukherjee will visit Pakistan on January 13 in a bid to invigorate the peace process, and invite Pakistani leaders for a South Asian regional summit.

The visit would be the first by an Indian foreign minister to Pakistan in more than 15 months.
