Pre-market: Sensex likely to open flat

Taking cues from the global markets, the Sensex is likely to open flat to slightly negative this morning. The index is likely to witness high volatility as five index stocks - Bharti, Cipal, Grasim, SBI & Tata Motors - announce their earnings today.

While Nikkei has dropped 84 points to 17,340, the Hang Seng is up 11 points at 20,783.

The Sensex is likely to face resistance around 14,265-14,280-14,300 levels. On the downside, the index may find support around 14,150-14,135-14,115 levels.
