Pre-market: Sensex likely to open higher

The Sensex is likely to open higher to kickstart the New Year. However, the index is likely to face stiff resistance at higher levels.

The index is likely to face resistance around 13,850-13,865-13,885 levels. On the downside the index may find support around 13,725-13,710-13,690 levels.
